This initiative began in 2019, when a group of immigrants in Finland and Germany came together with a shared goal: to help refugees start their own businesses and integrate into society through entrepreneurship. We believed that economic empowerment was one of the most effective ways to build resilience, independence, and a sense of belonging in a new country.
Over the years, the initiative gained traction in Finland and Germany, reaching and supporting a significant number of refugees. Through educational content, workshops, and hands-on support, we provided the knowledge and tools necessary for many to take their first steps in entrepreneurship.
But as we worked closely with these communities, we came to realize something even more urgent—mental health struggles were just as big of a barrier as economic hardship. Many of the people we supported were carrying heavy emotional burdens—stress, trauma, anxiety, and uncertainty—yet had little to no access to mental health resources.
Recognizing this pressing need, we have now expanded our mission beyond entrepreneurship. Our focus today is on mental health education, awareness, and accessible support tools—because no one should have to suffer in silence simply because they lack the resources.
We are committed to:
✅ Providing free educational content on stress, anxiety, and emotional well-being
✅ Offering self-help tools to help people manage their struggles in practical ways
✅ Raising awareness to break the stigma surrounding mental health in underserved communities
✅ Leveraging AI-driven solutions like Uoma to make mental health support more accessible
We believe that everyone deserves access to mental health support—no matter their background, financial situation, or location. Our goal is to bridge the gap and ensure that even those who cannot afford therapy or formal care have the tools to take action and support their well-being.
Mental health is not a privilege. It’s a right. And we’re here to make sure it’s within reach.
